Some men want to be remembered for something other than finding a way to make a ton of money.

I'm not one of those men. I would be quite happy with 76 big ones. My stroll into the sunset would be a decades long stretch at that point.

I think the correct answer would be that it's hard to turn away from the celebrity that a college football head coach receives, but my question was why would a coach get a job that first year. That generally doesn't happen. They nearly always take at least a year off.
