Just making sure you boys remember there was a time where missing 3 field goals in a game was a pretty regular occurrence at Alabama. Now possibly the all time leading scorer in NCAA history is about to depart the Capstone.

Only Tiffins are supposed to be good kickers at Alabama. We may never have this privilege again. Cherish it, crimson tide kings. When’s the last time a 50 yard field goal at Alabama was as sure a thing as a gunshot at point blank range?

Yes, we will be reminded ad nauseum that this is the 10 year anniversary of the kick 6.
A loss I squarely blame on our kickers that day.
Well, that, and the fact the refs should have called illegal man downfield on Auburn s last offensive touchdown

One of the Tiffin's cost us a game vs Ark with several missed kicks.

Zebras helped the boogs a bunch that day.

Sunseri was the usual holder but was hurt that game and the punter held and then missed the tackle.

No way Sunseri misses that tackle.

I blame Vinnie Sunseri. He was the holder that season up until he tore his ACL. If he is the holder, no way that guy goes all the way with Sunseri on the field.

***My bad Crimson Wraith***

Looks like we were thinking the same thing, just didn't read all the posts

And the fact that our coaching staff had our FG protection team in trying to cover what basically was a punt. A kicker, a holder, two linebackers, and seven OLs.

McCarron was the holder all season. He didn't hold on the kick six because he had only held for Foster. Mandell had practiced with Griffith.
