Fair enough. But I think the term shite hole program.is due for a more nuanced conversation.

Obviously, the facilities, support and size of aTm doesn't make it a shite hole.

But the fact that y'all can't get over that hump that LSU does consistently makes it more of a shite-holeish type of quality to have.

Then when you add in the blind optimism year in and year out it just gets a little weird. It makes the Aggy roller coaster meme that more ironic.

But you guys certainly didn't realize you would be Arkansas and State when you moved here. And you shouldn't be with everything you have. But you are.

There is a big difference between mediocre and "shite hole." For the last decade, we have been barely above "mediocre." No Aggie would really argue that point.

Fans are often optimistic—realistically or otherwise; hence the term fanatic.. Guilty as charged on that count.

When we made the jump to the SEC we were told we’d never compete. Some went so far as to state we wouldn’t win a game. Silly, I know, but it was said.

We’ve yet to win the division; hopefully that changes soon. But I’m ok with our record of fourth in wins (behind Bama, UGA, LSU) since expansion. It’s time to do better, I agree.
