We have the money. We choose not to play the NIL game. I don’t think it’s smart based on how much and how long we’ve sucked more than not. That said, agree that there are better ways to utilize NIL money like Utah giving all of their linemen new trucks, but on lease. Set up deals like that where they get it end of season or whenever makes sense if they perform or we lose a lot less if they don’t. Lord knows it’s better than giving someone $1mil and a Corvette -#Money4Nothing&Chicks4Free

I don't think we're on the same page exactly. We absolutely have to play the game if everyone else is. I don't love NIL but sky screaming about it won't help.

I'm not talking about spending less. Or putting stipulations on it. I'm talking about a HC/staff being intricately involved in putting that money where it can get the most value.

We can honestly have an advantage here because the Bama's, Ohio State's of the world are going to end up overpaying for the big names.
