Banged up last week. Saw limited play today at practice.

They play Liberty for their title shortly.

Lose him for weeks, or sit him out….maybe leave him home?

you're saying NMSU will play their backup QB to save the starter for the title game?

fine with me.

You're crazy. In my 40 odd years of watching AU football, I'm not sure we have ever beaten a backup QB. Even if we did, we gave him highlight film for the rest of his career.

Wouldn’t shock me at all honestly… Umass (who beat NMSU in week zero) screwed their season up by getting their qb hurt against us.

It never fails. A kid rolls onto the field that nobody has seen on film and has nothing to lose. Plays lights out like it was his Super Bowl.

Varsity Blues, and every other feel good story rolled into one as yet another back up has a dream game.
