FSU got their coach taken from them, too. FSU is back in the national title picture and aggy is where they always are, a mediocre program where next year is always the year.

OU will be back in the national title hunt, as well. Winning is just sort of something OU has done for decades. Don't have to go take coaches past their prime that won at other schools. OU has done plenty fine hiring coordinators. Maybe aggy can go throw another golden parachute contract at a "splash" hire, or maybe they'll get wise and roll the dice on a hungry up and comer.

Either way, maybe if aggy works really hard, they can have a winning record in conference in back to back years for the first time in 1999-2000. I mean, that seems like something any decent program could accomplish once every 25 years.
