UGA/UF Game in the early 90's at the old gator bowl. I think 91 but ain't sure. It was colder than a well diggers arse. About 50 degrees at game time and raining and wind blowing about 30 mph. Got really cold after halftime. Some people who attended that game swears there were snow flurries toward the end. I didn't see them but I do remember paying the Papa John pizza guy in the stands a dollar to let us stick our hands in the pizza delivery bags to get warm. UGA got beat BAD.

Second worse was a game in Lexington around 1990 or so. Beautiful night but it was about 30 degrees at game time back in the day when the game had to accommodate the horse races. UGA lost this one also but ran 2 kicks back for TDs in the game.

It can get low double digits below zero in the deep south but usually not until late January and it is not common. During football season the worse is usually 30s and 40s. Coldest regular season game in the conference in the last few years was probably LSU and Arkansas last year...I wasn't there of course but it looked miserable.
