I think the next guy loses favor next year after Texas embarrasses you in College Station.

He's out after year 4 after going something like 2-6 vs. Texas and LSU. OU will win twice in that span but you were always fine losing to them.

You know damn well that, with the new coach, A&M will look like Vanderbilt for 11 games next year, but look like the Kansas City Chiefs for 1 game.

It's the aggie way. It's how that school always has been. Look at last year.

I'll let you guess the one game in 2024...

Rich coming from a Sip, you know damn good and well if Sark does not get to the playoffs this year and y'all get drummed in conference next year, which is likely then he'll be next on the hot seat. Especially if A&M makes a good hire and beats y'all, there are a few programs that can talk shite about running off coaches, tu isn't one of them.

Texas' last coach won a NY6 bowl game in year 2 and was fired 2 seasons later for underperformance.

Jimbo Fisher won a NY6 bowl game in a covid-shortened year 3 and was given $100 million extra by your school.

Texas' trash is Texas a&m's treasure...

Dude, as bad as we are, I’m not sure you would beat us this year. Don’t mistake tx as anything more than solid. In a real league, probably a little above average.

Don’t get ahead of yourself junior. You still have a career 7-5ish coach. You are basically contending for the sunbelt title.

Then how come Texas' strength of schedule is higher than a&m's yet they're 9-1 and not 6-4 or worse like the aggies? LINK

1 LSU (7-3)
2 Alabama (9-1)
3 Penn St (8-2)
4 Mississippi (8-2)
5 Texas (9-1)
6 Ohio St (10-0)
7 Notre Dame (7-3)
8 Texas A&M (6-4)
9 Missouri (8-2)
10 Michigan (10-0)

Texas is getting the sunbelt title in addition to winning the SEC West this year, too???

Damn, Sark is going to win 2 conference titles in his 3rd year alone while a&m paid $126 million to win zero in 6 years

ETA: OOOOOOOOF lotta downvotes but no response. Truth hurts, huh aggies?

Yes they both did. Texas paid a combined $35 million to fire both coaches. You're paying $76 million to fire one that accomplished no more than Herman did. And after Jimbo finally reached what Herman accomplished, A&M extended him for $100 million

Texas' trash is quite literally Texas a&m's treasure.

I know. It's too bad they couldn't ditch those guys and hire somebody to get them to the top 10. Oh wait...

Well it's not like this year's Texas team would stand a chance against anybody in SEC West anyway. Oh wait...

Well I'm sure a&m torched that exact same opponent that Texas beat since they played in College Station. Oh wait...

Face it, aggie. This is your reality. The jokes will always write themselves

How bad were those hires though? Texas had the blue ribbon committee pick those guys…

A "blue ribbon committee"? You mean the AD that had the job for less than 2 years that hired Charlie? Or the interim AD that hired Herman (when every team in the country that had a vacancy wanted him)?

That was Texas' B team making those hires under an admittedly dysfunctional time in the athletic dept.

However, that'd probably be the blue ribbon committee of the century for an establishment like A&M, the athletic program that has accomplished absolutely nothing since Hitler invaded Poland

You mean you didn’t hear about the top notch committee of experts that were handling that coaching search?

The jokes write themselves in Austin…

God I know right?

It's utterly humiliating being 9-1 and ranked in the CFP top 10 in addition to all of the other sports that are flourishing.

I mean, look at a&m and all the success Jimbo... er I mean Buzz... er I mean Schloss... er I mean Joni Taylor... er I mean the meat judging team is having. Yea, them sips sure are jealous of those FIGHTIN Texas aggies!!!

Yes, three and four years respectively and not 6 years. Texas doesn't have have a coach in it's history that doesn't get make it to year 5 without a conference championship.

The real message is you find yourself in this situation far more often (replacing a coach who never won anything) and in the last two cases let them ride it out 6 years.

shite happens, it just happens to A&M more often and in the most recent cases it is rewarded.

Lol is referencing losing seasons that happened over a decade ago at all relevant? If we go back to 2000 how many losing seasons has each team had? How about championships?

The amount of grasping at straws and cherry-picking your school does when not a trophy has been won for multiple generations almost makes me feel bad for y'all. Almost...

It appears you'll never get the message.
