Petrino improved every year though

And how did that end up working out for Arkansas?

Checks notes and sees John L. Smith and Chad Morris as two of next three coaches.

And here we are. But it will be different this time.

Bret Bielema was a successful coach at Wisconsin and went to a bowl game every year, winning his division once. At Arkansas he went 29-34. He has a winning record now at Illinois.

Maybe Bret Bielema wasn’t the problem.

But go ahead and fire Pittman. I am sure good coaches will be lining up to take a difficult job where they know they will be fired if they have one bad season.

Bert was only successful at Wisconsin because daddy Barry Alvarez was the real head coach.

Bert was 11-29 in the SEC at Arkansas. That is worse than Sam Pittman.

The fact that Bert has one winning year at Illinois in a division that is softer than a baby's bottom just tells me it is a Bert problem.
