I think it is getting down to nut cutting time and he doesn't want to have any wrenches thrown into the works from his side. Just my wild guess.

I really think we are going to see if DeBoer is serious after this weekend. I guess I'm a Michigan fan this weekend as well so we can put the Day rumors to rest. And Oregon will smash Smith's team.

Ah that's fair. I imagine this mixed with trying to flame that Evan Stewart stuff probably has him a bit riled up.
