I think the point here is that Kiffin shows how Rollins used mental health as an excuse to justify his bad behavior which is just being a poor human.

This is a topic the blue-hairs won't support. They realize everyone has issues and need to deal with them. Some choose better options than others to deal with them.

But, individual responsibilities do not go away because you are dealing with shite.

There is plenty of help on EVERY college campus, and a D1 athlete has more resource support than anyone else on campus. I hope the kid is okay, but it's not Lane's responsibility to keep him on the team if he ghosts them and cannot function due to his issues.

How so? The guy is still on scholarship with access to mental health facilities at the school. If it’s just a problem with how Lane talked to him then suck it up. You want to be grown up and treated like a man well welcome to the real world. I’ve been dressed down and I’ve dressed down others way worse than that for much less than disappearing for weeks. Skip work a couple weeks and show back up when “you’re ready” see how that works out for you.
