Ole Miss isn't beating us with the passing game. The focus of Kirby and co this week, IMO, has been on scheming for stopping the run in all its variations. We'd rather Ole Miss find success through the air, where they aren't as comfortable, than on the ground. Take them out of what they want to do and force them into shite that they don't want to do.

I disagree somewhat. Ole Miss would be very comfortable with a pass 1st attack if we don't also pressure Dart. Bama stuffed the run, pressured Dart, and put a lid on the entire OM offense. If we stop the run and don't pressure Dart we're in trouble. They've got great WR's, good ball catching RB's, and a very good QB. I don't think stopping the run automatically equals a W in this case.

Maybe, maybe not. But, if your goal is to make them one dimensional, then you'd rather them become a passing team, IMO of course.
