Because they used a flawed formula of the last 10 years in winning %.
It has been Tennessee's worst 10 year stretch in their history. They are a Big 6 school.
Again, flawed formula.
quote:
Alabama: Auburn, LSU, Tennessee
Auburn: Alabama, Georgia, Vanderbilt
Florida: Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina
Georgia: Auburn, Florida, Kentucky
LSU: Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M
Tennessee: Alabama, South Carolina, Vanderbilt
One of these things is not like the other.
Unless LSU wants to trade Ole Miss for Tennessee on Alabama's schedule.

I think I would rather play Auburn/Tenn every year than Ole Miss/aTm. Over the past 20 years, OM/aTm have been better consistnatly than AU/UT.
My point is that LSU and Bama both have pretty damn tough 3 team permanants. Lets not try to act like Bama has it so much harder than anyone else.
Now, I think those 2 have by far the toughest draws. But as an LSU fan, this is to be expected.
