Drove the Talimena Scenic Drive today between Talihina OK and Mena Arkansas expecting to see some fall colors. Nothings turned yet.
200 mile trip down there today and saw a bunch of green trees.

Still early for color down there these days. Poteau to Broken Bow might work better this weekend.

One of the best is Colonial Parkway between Colonial Williamsburg and Yorktown. Another is up around Pigeon Forge

Took two weeks off to travel the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and bits of West Virginia in mid-October.. West Virginia had the most fall color, by far. Blackwater Falls was absolutely gorgeous.. Was going to come back through Arkansas to see the Ozarks, but missed out on that

My favorite drive is from Branson, MO. down to Roger, AR. Got all of Big Cedar's property at the start of Hwy. 86 and then you get to go through Roaring River State Park and the Mark Twain National Forest before you get to Seligman, MO. Next you pass by the Pea Ridge Battleground and into Rogers.
