You're taking credit away from a pretty decent rocky top defense that only gave up 30 points once this year...
Offense played a great 2nd half but the defense also gave them a big boost with 7 pts on their own plus a short field for another after 4th down (and gave them good field position again that we wasted with an INT).
Our first half drive chart looked like this
- 3 plays, 9 yds, punt
- 4 plays, 23 yds, punt
- 3 plays, -2 yds, fumble
- 5 plays, 36 yds, punt
- 9 plays, 59 yds, touchdown
- 4 plays, 14 yds, INT
We can't frick around for an entire half on offense this weekend. I'm not sure we can afford to frick around on more than 1-2 possessions.

You guys are supporting my point that rocky top has a good defense so naturally they keep teams from scoring and we did well enough that second half.
I agree with the rest of your point as well. We can't keep having entire dead halfs in these games and expect to continue to win them.
I also don't understand an earlier point someone else made about LSU lacking the ability to stop the run. From what I have seen Stat wise they do that decently. What they can't seem to stop is the pass.

The playcalling was awful in the first half against Tennessee. Run up the middle every first down for little gain.
In the second half Rees opened things up so much more with tons of motion and read-option that kept Tennessee guessing for nearly the entire second half.
