I'm surprised they didn't eject him last night. GCU's garbage Kobe knock-off getting a Kobe whistle while our guys had to get knocked to the ground for a 50/50 shot at a whistle was fricking infuriating. Pringle destroyed the clipboard after watching that fricking goon #24 continue to play dirty with no whistle.

The commentating was just as bad as officiating. They only talked about GCU questionable calls when they were tripling us up at the FT line despite shooting mostly threes and mid-rangers at that point. Was the most poorly, one-sided officiating I've seen in the tournament in some time. Later in the 2nd half, when they got back into it, we were mostly just committing stupid fouls, but the officiating that took place for 3/4 of the game is what kept them in a position that allowed that to matter. It baffles me how influenced officiating is by even just a semi-hostile crowd.

I also think our reputation has completely screwed us in so many games this year. Usually officials worry about FT/foul disparity, but we've been on the wrong end of bad calls more this year than ever before. They simply expect us to foul if we get a stop, and never worry about the FT or foul count because of our reputation.

I lost it when their other goon, #30, blatantly jumped into Wrightsell on a closeout with an unnatural shooting motion and they immediately wrote it off as nothing to see and a clear foul. If someone had pulled that bush league horseshite on either one of you losers back when you were playing you'd have wanted to fricking swing on him.
