Florida is the team in the 5-8 seed range that I think has the biggest deep run potential in March.

If they can survive their first game (they don't play great against weaker teams), they profile a lot like Miami in 2023: they play their best against elite teams, and they have great guards.

Ohhh boy. What does this adjusted metric say about us (the blue line)?

Seems to echo what many of us were saying most of the season in this thread.

It's a fun, legitimate Top25 team that's far exceeded expectations in a year we replaced the coaching staff and most of the roster.

However, some of the NET #5 type efficiency rankings were a bit of fool's gold based on absolutely pummeling below average teams and putting on a offensive clinic against most pretty good teams we played too.

However, the tourney's a crapshoot. Not sure this team has shown the ability to knock off 3 straight great teams but could certainly get a couple of favorable match-ups and make a little run.

I hate to say it all comes down to 3-pt shooting but it sort of does with this team. Defense is decent enough to beat anybody if we can shoot 35% from behind the arc. Not good enough to beat other good teams if they hold us to 20-25%.
