And the fact that there is not illegal defense in college. You can basically plant two rim protectors in the paint and just sit down on all drives past the first level. In the nba you have to be actively guarding someone in the paint within 3 seconds or it's a technical. Thats part of the reason you don't see the ginormous scoring averages in college that you do in the nba. Yes the nba game is 8 minutes longer, but it's much more difficult to have rim protection in the nba.
