#Alabama's Nate Oats on Nick Pringle: "He hasn't blocked a shot this season. He hasn't improved like we'd like to see. If he's going to be a rim protector, he needs to block shots."

Nate Oats called out freshmen Sam Walters and Davin Cosby for their defensive effort during the Indiana State game. He said newcomers will need to contribute on defense to see the court on this year's team.

We've pretty much looked like shite whenever they're in the game. Definitely don't look ready to contribute yet.

He's looked pretty bad. Wague looked much better in the second game. That stretch he had vs Indiana St looked promising. WV fans said the Wague was still raw, and Huggy Bear didn't help. They said he'd get pulled after the first mistake, while other guys had a long leash. Oats isn't afraid to let this play through issues. Pulling them too quick will only hurt their confidence, imo. I think we'll see some highs and lows out of the big men.

MoDia looks like a kid who has only shot hoops in his driveway, and his playing on his first actual team. Clumsy, no vision, and just playing a little out of control. He would've been a good RS candidate.
