At issue, according to sources, is whether Michigan used unnamed individuals to attend games of both scheduled opponents and possible College Football Playoff opponents in an effort to gather information on the signs they use to call both offensive and defensive plays.

Is this illegal? if I was a coach, i would expect the other team to do this.. I would do this myself on other teams (assuming it isn’t illegal) but either way, I wouldn’t trust that my opponent was going to play by the rules.

It’s very likely this is the reason they destroy their opponents.. and also very likely why TCU destroyed them.

There was a rumor last year that TCU knew our plays.. and if that was true.. then there is a good chance they changed their plays knowing other teams might be doing it also..

And if that happened, then it’s likely Michigan got fooled on some play calls or didn’t know them..

People on this board are outraged because other teams cheat....yet they have no problem when their WR holds a ball up as if they caught it when they know it bounced on the turf...or a defensive players takes a ball away from their opponent at the bottom of a pile like there was a fumble. Football is one sport in which the players cheat on almost every play and then scream that the other team cheated.

Holding calls, flopping, going down as if injured well after a play is over and it goes on and on and on...
