The refs sucked that game for both sides. Calls were missed and bad calls were made.

But any objective person who watched that game has to conclude that on a whole Bama benefited from the bad refs that day. They made a total BS call that gifted Bama a touchdown. And yet it’s Bama fans blaming the refs for the loss.

Bama didn’t lose because of the refs. The refs helped Bama. Bama lost because UT beat Bama and with competent officiating UT wins by more than 3.

Remember when that Bama player was so butthurt that he assaulted a female fan and then your coach defended that? Bama lost both the game and what little was left of their dignity that night.

Sad, really

Stop committing so many penalties? That Alabama team was ridiculously undisciplined. Check out penalty stats for the whole season.

Y’all should fire Saban

Be careful what you wish for because Heupel might get the boot if loses to Alabama and UGA and possible another one to one on the current schedule.

Sure. Sometimes the refs benefit you, sometimes they screw you. They usually suck though.

Oh nevermind, I can now see you’re actually retarded. This was not the talking point after the game, even by the Bama haters. It was actually more “dynasty is obviously over, bammer doesn’t even get the calls anymore”. Look at whatever you want: the obscene penalty discrepancy, or the below hit which is an immediate ejection and likely prison sentence for anyone wearing white that night. With the emphasis on player safety and instant replay you won’t even disagree on that point:

I actually agree with you there. That team was super inconsistent all year and just kind of sucked by recent standards. Despite so many things going wrong and all the penalties, Bama still could have won but couldn’t get it done. It took an epic turn of events for UTk to pull that off and hats off to them for doing it. But, look for Bama to continue their domination this weekend as they add to that gaudy (16-1) run.

3rd and goal for Alabama. Bruce Young has no where to go and throws it up for grabs in the end zone. A Bama receiver grabs the DB and runs into another DB. Refs give Bama defensive pass interference. Y’all should’ve been kicking a field goal and instead get a td.

And you still bitch

Alabama can't run the football. Tennessee is good at stopping the run.

I doubt Tennessee will move it very well against the Bama D, but just when I think Bama has the D figured out, you get that fourth quarter vs. Arkansas.

I don't know who will win, but I'd bet Tennessee +8.5 with that spread. Smells like a close game that turns on a turnover or STs play.

Alabama has given up quite a few explosive pass plays. That would've been good for UT last year. This year? Not so much.

Tennessee is the one going to be prone on TO. Their quarterback is the one I am thinking to give the game away.

I watched that game and bama benefitted much more from the officiating than Tennessee did

In what way?

#24 on UT's defense clapping his hands, causing our linemen to jump offsides? Yet we're flagged for it even though that's illegal?
Or multiple late hits on Bryce Young, including a blatant no-call targeting?

12 men on the field for UT with 5 minutes left in the third?

Will Anderson being blatantly held all night?

The supposed "pass interference" on Malachai Moore which negated a critical INT that would have sealed the game for Bama? Flag was thrown as he was already halfway down field?

Burton getting held and snatched around by his jersey on every single pass play?

The blatant PI committed by #28 for Tennessee on Bond which also included him getting head locked and then dragged to the ground by his facemask?

Knocking two different Alabama receivers down in the end zone on TWO occasions?

Or the quickest forward progress whistle in the history of football which negated a UT fumble recovered by Alabama? Never mind the same player was allowed to push the pile all game long for 5 to 6 seconds except for the moment the ball pops out long before FP should have even been considered...

GTFO with your Alabama inferiority complex.

In what ways did they help Bama? Let's hear it. Because I have a list of "ways" they gifted you banjo picking count cakes the game on a silver goddamn platter...

So I challenge you to hop off your sister and list all those BS calls that benefited Bama. Go ahead, defend your allegation because my aforementioned list says otherwise.

Sad your lone victory over Bama since the Bush administration was in office came courtesy of one sided officiating.

Here come the sanctimonious UT fans that pelt players and coaches with mustard bottles and riot and send death threats to coaches when they tuck tail and run, clutching their sister's pearls over a player slapping some incestuous count on the field...

Too bad he didn't slap more of you extra chromosome sporting mutants.

I hardly think the results from the schedule that Tennessee has played suggests anything like them being a very good team. They’ve played two teams that are decent. Beat A&M in a close game at home and got handled easily by Florida on the road. It remains to be seen whether any team in the SEC will show themselves to be really good.

And here we are a year later and Bama still being undisciplined. I believe they teach holding and PI in practice and then when it gets called in the game they are shocked. They do it to often not to be doing that in practice also.

Bama is ranked #98 in the country in committing penalties. They committed 48 penalties so far. They are on pace to commit 84 penalties this year.

Sure looks like targeting for sure. But a hold on #6 was missed also prior that hit that wasn’t called. Watch the video again and watch #6 get drug down from behind. If he doesn’t hold #6 then he gets the sack snd the “targeting hit” doesn’t happen.

Despite so many things going wrong and all the penalties,

Bama should have had more. Half of your penalties were pre snap penalties. Pre snap penalties are not the refs fault. So y’all really only had 6 if you take all the delay of games, illegal formations, false starts, off sides penalties away.

This is stupid. He won 11 games last year for the first time in forever and lost a lot of talent to the draft. He's not going anywhere even if we lose to @#11 bama and #1 UGA and another team.

On Wednesday, Anderson met with reporters and he was asked about the best offensive lineman he faced this season.

The former Alabama star pointed out Tennessee Vols right tackle Darnell Wright as the best o-lineman he played against in 2022.
