Agreed on both parts for the most part. Especially the length and amount of buyout of CBK’s contract
The second part is mostly due to NIL in my opinion, which I address below.

If you read the LSU Recruiting Board, you’ll see that this is not true at all. Some try to downplay our disadvantages, but most know that we can’t keep up playing the game the way others do while paying huge contracts to coaches, upgrading and building facilities, etc.
It’s just unsustainable going back to the same wells over and over again without a lot more deep pockets of alumni and supporters of the program who are willing to step up to the plate. That’s not to take away from the businesses and individuals who do.
If you’re not going to play the game, you can’t win. It’s just how it is for now.

As usual, Faggies post about winning shite when they have never won anything in football, even Ole Miss has won the SEC West once.
