Thanks for the chuckle. I used to do battle with REAL terrorists. Some mope on a message board doesn’t qualify.
October 23, 2023 will be the 40th anniversary of the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, Lebanon. I was part of the Multinational Peacekeeping Force at the time. To be honest about it, I felt relieved that I was on a ship rather than being a sitting duck in a barracks. One of the lessons learned from that tragedy was forming the Green Zone in Baghdad after the Gulf War. I’ll get off the soapbox now
