re: What would the SEC gain by adding Clemson and Florida State?

Clemson and Florida St are two of the biggest brand names not currently in the SEC or Big 10. They’re highly competitive programs that create compelling matchups with premier venues within the SEC’s footprint. They’re cultural fits, teams tv audiences want to watch, they have traditional rivals in the SEC, and they’re actually closer road trip desitinations than many current members. If the SEC has to expand, who could possibly be a better candidate In football?
