Going from QB to RB isn't something that happens very often. QB to WR happens a lot (and in reverse in the case of Ryan Tannehill), but off the top of my head I can't think of anyone who has gone from QB to RB except Blake Sims, sort of.

Michael Bush, and Jerick McKinnon are the only 2 I can think of. Chazz Surratt played QB at UNC before switching to LBer.

Thread title wasn't accurate.

I'm talking about keeping Milroe at QB, but running him a lot during the game like a running back.

Jalen Milroe basically is a running back playing QB. He's not a fragile guy. We don't need to develop him as an NFL QB. Just fricking run him 30+ times per game. Let him get 5 ypc. Who cares? He's probably the most effective runner on our team.

There's no point in playing Milroe if he only runs the ball 10 times a game

He's a running QB, and we need to use him as one.
