Im still anti-Cook as a starter. Over the the next few weeks there might be a few bandwagon Cook fans, but he is still the same guy that struggles to read defenses and struggles to throw deep. Moore has done a good job building the offense around Cook’s strengths and Burden.
Moore caught a national record 95 TD’s in high school. He is going to find a way to get Burden and the other receivers the ball. With no running game I think instead of using the run to setup the pass he is going use short passes and screens to setup deeper passes.

Exactly this. There is alot of speed in the WR room. Getting those guys in the open field after short passes will be deadly.
But let's be fair to Cook. He went downfield effectively. The second Burden TD was a checkdown because of a blitzing safety. He had an overthrow to Burden but that's better than the underthrows in the past. He had better anticipation. I think Moore is going to be very good for Cook.
If Drink can shut up about "dating his daughter" and keep it about football, fans will be all in on Cook real soon.

Me too.
There are enough data points to look at his body of work overall. I do think he played well yesterday.
I like him, its not personal at all. He loves Mizzou and I appreciate and respect that very much. There is no doubt he is a gritty and tough young man.
I agree with Drink in that the booing needs to stop regardless of how people feel. I will take the booing over complete apathy from the fanbase. At least there is a heartbeat and optimism again inside the fanbase.
Brady is our QB1 at this point clearly. Lets see how things go the rest of the season. I will gladly eat the crow if needed.
