I found a replay I’m watching now of Pottsville vs L.R Hall on KASN.
They are saying Hall is just coming out of playing 8 man football.
WTH happened to Hall? In the 70’s they were a big LR school.
The LR schools were a big breeding ground for Hog football. Sad to see that go away.
Basketball took off though in that area so there’s that.

When the new Southwest opened their enrollment went way down. Once the new high school in West Little Rock is finished i wouldn’t be surprised if Hall closed.

Thanks, that’s a shame, alot of good players came through there.

Metal detectors to get in any sporting event tends to take the edge off. Hall was overrun by gangs and education is virtual impossible there anymore.

Southwest is starting to come on, Parkview is enjoying a resurgence, Mills is showing signs of life.
Certainly not the glory days of football in LR though.
The athletes are there, just not in the football programs.

How big was hall in the 70s? It's small as shite now.
Little rock has had a lot happen with their public schools as of recent. Closing some while building and planning to open others that are meant to be bigger.
