No! Jermaine Burton don’t it on purpose and initiated the contact. She was passing by ad the fans rushed the field and he reached out and made contact with her when she wasn’t looking. It was unprovoked and cowardly to hit a female to begin with, and then do it when she wasn’t looking makes it even worse.

No grey area at all. Fans rushed the field, he walking off and decided to slap a woman in the head as he was passing by her. Only grey are was Saban making excuses for it. Saban said he was scared and pretty much defending himself. Burton - 6’0 ft, 200lbs, and the Female he assaulted was 5’4, 115lbs. Real scary, especially when she wasn’t even looking at him or didn’t even say nothing. But here’s the video.

This type of behavior from the fans and players is not new. This happens every year and I can remember this type of behavior last time I was in Tuscaloosa for a game in 2013 to watch them play Tennessee. Even after they won they followed my wife and I back to our vehicle harassing us and calling us racist slurs as I’m white and she is mixed.
