“No, it was NOT a good pass, J. That guy isn’t on our team. Our team has on the RED jerseys.”

I explicitly remember thinking when I saw that last night that Rees was probably saying “I can’t do it for you, Jalen”.

Felt bad for Tommy Rees last night, he looked like a coach that was frustrated in being handcuffed by a head coach, forcing him to play a guy at quarterback whose clearly not good enough.

Might need to try this approach.

Watching the game live, I looked over at my son and we both started laughing. Who couldn’t relate?

Rees looks like a 23-year old grad assistant.

Papaw Saban wouldn’t approve, might hurt someone’s feelings or give them anxiety.

Milroe answered, but there's no one home.

He "won the locker room" because he's been around the longest. That's no way to pick your starting QB.

Yeah this approach hasn't worked out well.

How about instead of waiting for a guy to "win the team", you should see which QB can read a fricking defense, and play him

100%. The only reason is getting the inside track is because he got there first.

No such QB exists on the roster at the moment.

We don't have a great QB on the roster at the moment. But I believe we have a solid game manager on the roster in Buchner. To hell with this winning the locker room bullshite! The kid's been on campus all of 4 months! You know how you win the locker room? By WINNING ON THE FIELD! You win them by not throwing 2 horrendous picks, by completing it to a wide open RB on a wheel route with nothing but green grass in front of him, by not causing your receivers to have to make acrobatic catch after acrobatic catch nearly getting them killed and giving them absolutely no chance for YAC. The guys want to win. If the biggest, most arrogant a-hole on campus is winning games at QB, the team will get behind him, I promise. It's not rocket science. And the seniority system preferred by the senior citizen coach is not working at ANY position!
