It was alright.

We scored touchdowns on offense, defense and special teams.

Offense - New transfer QB had some promising throws but also made some questionable decisions. At times he just seemed out of sync.

Running game was decent but unimpressive most of the day. Ray Davis the transfer from Vandy displayed some really impressive vision and cutbacks but it didn't really feel like we were opening a clean path.

Offensive line - run blocking was average at best. Pass blocking, we only gave up one sack which is a vast improvement on last year.

Special teams Barion Brown returned a kick for a TD. Punts looked solid and our new transfer kicker was a perfect 3/3 including a 46 yarder. Long snapper didn't have any bad snaps (it was a frequent problem last year)

Defense looked aggressive. Pretty solid play although it took a while for them to wake up and start laying the lumber.

All in all cautiously optimistic. A lot of the problems from last year are improved, hopefully we clean the rest up.

Yep....my big takeaway was the offense seemed out of sync and we need to get that fixed. OL was improved but still has work to do.

Was generally pleased with the D and definitely happy with ST.
