We have to get better production from that position. Numerous times last night 71 was pushed into the backfield near the ball carrier. I think his issue is that he plays too high. I’m not sure if a substitution needs to happen but he’s the only liability on this starting o line.

Yeah Ferguson looked way better when he was in. He and Dalcourt should be swapped for the next game. Let those monsters gel together and the possibilities are endless.

Yeah, Dalcourt has been on skates his entire career at Alabama. I’m sure he is a good kid, and he probably has a good football IQ, but he’s just not a good run blocker.

Got downvotes last week when I said he’s SOFT as baby shite.

He’s been that way his whole career. He must be smart and can make the right calls/block the right man. However, executing his job at the point of attack has been a struggle. This is another case of Saban being too loyal to a veteran. Hopefully there’s more rotation after film study, but don’t forget it basically took an injury for Saban to pull him in favor of Seth last year. I don’t get it.

Ferguson is the guy, film will show them. If they don’t make that switch it’s on them.
