Imagine a highly ranked ACC team dropping a late season game to a 7 loss in conference foe.
Do you think we would sniff the top 5 the next year?
Probably would be ranked around the 15-25 range.

Nor can you really brag about how good or how high you rank this year before having ever teed the the ball up.
