The poster was responding to a statement that if the defense was bad, it was Saban's fault and not the DC. If that were the case, then Saban should get the credit for Kirby and Pruitt's defenses. I don't think Bama fans agree with either statement, the DC is important when the defense is good and is also responsible when the defense is bad.

Either way, we'll see if Alabama's defense is better under Steele and if Ole Miss's defense is better under Golding.
