BV has 0 NCs as a head coach, which is relevant here.

Riley is arguably the best offensive coach in the game, Venables is not the best defensive coach, and I don’t think anyone would even consider this to be the case since his peak years at Clemson.

What about BV makes you think he’s going to have top 4 teams nationally while competing in the SEC? Certainly not his first season. Not looking like this year is going to meet OU’s standards either. 2024 and all of a sudden your biggest competition isn’t dick tripping Texas anymore…

Besides Caleb, tell me all the great qbs LR recruited and developed.

I don’t have to, you already know.

Is BV going to win 86% of his games?

That 2015-19 Clemson shine will only last so long…

.

This is laughable. Two short spread QBs were picked #1 overall under Riley’s coaching and Hurts came to OU lacking as a passer and turned into a surprising 2nd round pick.

Riley doesn’t even need to hit on HS recruits. The portal is there for him, too. He’s developed and put up numbers with every QB he’s had and there’s no reason to think that’ll change.

OU didn’t have a two guys in the QB room last year that could throw a forward pass. That’s inexcusable in today’s game.
