BV is 2-5 calling the defense in NC games. 1 of the 2 wins he was given a lead with 4 minutes to play and gave it up in approximately 2 minutes, only won when the offense drove down and scored on the last play of the game.
His best game was holding Bama to 16. His worst was giving up 55 to SC.
Riley is one of the best, if not best, play callers in CFB. Venables is a very good defensive coach who won with great defensive lines and teams led by Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence.
