Most of the Vol fans on this board i noticed have been conditioned by the Dooley, Butch and Pruitt years to assume the worst despite seeing Heupel transform Tennessee into a playoff contender team in just two seasons.

Most of the real Vol fans on this board are probably cautiously optimistic about the season. Ya'll had a good season last year. They (like the rest of us) are just tired of you and your alters spamming the board with multiple threads a day about how UT is going to dominate everyone this year. When your own fan base is telling you to STFU, that's bad.

To be honest I liked Butch until he started giving up. I noticed he changed a lot from when he 1st arrived until he was fired.
He made some bad decisions in close games on both offensive and defensive.
