Brandon Allen, former QB for Arkanas, is going into his 8th year of being a backup QB in the NFL and I daresay he's not worrying about making rent this month. How many thousands of QBs never even get a sniff at the NFL, much less make a good living as a backup?
I think Gabbert would be a great backup for any team.
