Yeah, I'm more interested in what did Michael Lewis know about all of this when writing the book. Maybe nothing, but the movie would not have existed without the book.

I think it’s worth noting all these things can be true at the same time:
1. The Tuohy’s are shitty for telling Oher he was a part of the family, profiting off his story, then sharing the profits with everybody in the family but him
2. Oher was an adult and signed the contract, he doesn’t have any real legal recourse/this suit is going nowhere
3. Oher is putting this out now because he’s got a book coming out
Anyways, let it play out, at this point we’ve only heard Oher’s attorney side of things plus whatever minimal corroboration has been done by the press

Michael Lewis and Sean Tuohy were HS classmates and long-time friends. Someone else pointed out they "grew up together", so probably classmates and friends back to grade school.
