No matter what anyone thinks, the movie was a Lifetime TV movie glossed up by Hollywood. Have no idea how it ended up nominated for Best Pic and giving Bullock an Oscar.

They made Oher look like Forrest Gump and Hugh look like Barney Fife. If he had made a pass at Mrs. Tuohy, that would've been real. But they made him look like she knew more about football than he did. It was one extreme exaggeration after another. So, kind of not shocked that the core of it was an exaggeration as well.

The movie is based off the Michael Lewis book. Michael Lewis writes books like “The Big Short”. Seems weird how Oher got no royalties from either the book or movie

Oher was extremely embarrassed by the movie. Hell I was embarrassed for him. Terrible movie.
