Just finished watching the Netflix documentary on Johnny Manziel. Was outstanding! What a once in a lifetime story. I wish him well.

I haven’t seen it but did see it was ranked the top documentary right now on Netflix. Kinda cool.

Johnny picked A&M over Oregon. horn offered him at safety. Sherman wanted him at QB.

I came away feeling empathy for Johnny. I myself suffer from PTSD. Mental illness is real. He was unable to cope with all the adulation coming his way. His one friend Nate, when that knot was severed when Jonny entered the NFL, was I believe a big reason for his spiral into self destruction.

Military? If so which branch? I earned mine in Afghanistan along with a Purple Heart.
Yes, I'm aware you can get PTSD outside the service.

Pretty sure he said something else about getting kissed by the yell leaders too.

There's two sides to that coin. He is bipolar, and I have some personal experience with that. It's an ugly disorder. But everyone in his circle, from his parents, to his "friend" Nate, to his coaches, enabled everything he did. It was a perfect storm. And to this day he's leaching off of people after blowing the millions he made in the league, and he seems to accept no personal responsibility for it.

He comes from a loaded family. Doesn't need to leech.

No he doesn't. Watch the documentary. That was a myth he and his "friend" Nate created to smoke screen the illegal benefits he was receiving at A&M.

No kidding. LSU needs to calm down their Johnny hate. They always want to add their “we hate him” jargon to every Johnny thread.

I need to find someone I can leach money off to fund a business... like Manziel is.

Johnny Suckballs had 6 turnovers and 1 TD in his two games vs LSU iirc

Which was pretty genius.
His great grandfather (I believe) was did pretty well in oil in gas years ago but it wasn’t some generational wealth that was the rumor for years.
I thought it was hilarious when they immediately show the clips of Cowherd and Bayliss just parroting the “he comes from money” bullshite that some college kids made up.
