Friend has a Staccato and loves it. The only thing is that it is not so reliable.

I have heard that and with the tolerances it wouldnt surprise me that there would be more required maintenance. Speaking on a 1 of 1 I have; it’s been rock solid. Probably 2500 to 3k rounds without a single failure. It is also like a cheat code to shoot fast.

I have a Staccato CS and P. They're awesome. Not sure what reliability issues your friend has. Basic cleaning and simple maintenance can cure a lot of ills.
