1. Interior OL - In both pass protection and run blocking it must improve. DJ Campbell and Neto Umeozulu in real fights to supplant last year's starters is a good sign.

2. Sarkesian's ability to make in game adjustments - Last year he did a poor job of making adjustments and going off script.

3. Edge holding up against the run - The likely starter at Buck, Ethan Burke, was average against the run when he got his opportunities last season. This needs to see huge improvement or Alabama is going to abuse him. He does have excellent run stoppers behind him on that side of the field to mitigate this in CB Ryan Watts and boundary corner Jalen Catalon. They also might put Alfred Collins back out on the edge against Bama.

4. Catalon's shoulder - Will it hold up?

5. Ewers - He wasn't good enough last year. But QBs usually improve drastically in year 2 under Sarkesian.

If his shoulder holds up he will deliver. He is very physical even to the extent that he don’t really know how to take care of himself.
