Damn good deal for GT IMO. Get to keep the stadium name, and get 70 million over 20 years.

SEC teams get that amount in just one year.

Kidding aside, it is a good deal for GT, but I lament the change in the name. I'm a traditionalist.

Hyundai Field and Kroger Field just don't sound good.

USuCk's Founder's Park and Colonial Life Arena just sound better than Hyundai and Kroger.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of this situation until about 5 seconds ago by my off the cuff thought would be that tech fans would hate it. I've only known "grant field" my whole life so to have it change to something soulless and corporate just seems a bit icky.

its 55 million over 20 years, no?

So a cool 2.75m annually to sell your history to corporate America. I don’t see the appeal.

Edit: it is 70 mil. Still, 3.5m
