Three questions:
Would Taulia be our starter this year?
What SEC school tried to get his transfer?
How good would he have been with Freeze?

Yes, he would be our starter. I think it was Florida. But, I'm not sure.

From the sound of it, I think it was Fisher and A&M. Who else would offer him a million dollars to transfer?

It was Auburn.

Pretty sure that I have seen a news article stating that it was Auburn. That was the headline, anyway.

Of course it was the goobers. No question about it.

Kind of off topic, but my son was at a camp at UM that was part of the Under Armour Flag football national tournament. They did drills and heard speeches with a bunch of the players and coaches. He ended up catching passes for a solid 20 minutes with Taulia before the camp started.

He was super friendly and only had good things to say about Bama. My son thought he was really great, he’s 10 so it was really cool for him to get to catch with a D1 QB. Lia has a surprisingly live arm when you see him in person. Wish he would have stuck it out, but I understand why he moved on.

On topic. Yeah, he’d be the starter and he’d be really good under Freeze. No idea what team was trying to get him.

I always thought Taulia was pretty good, and he's been pretty impressive at Maryland. Bad luck with Mac, and Bryce being the next two in line.

Patience is a lost art. He would likely be the starter this year and Bama would be in a great position to challenge UGA for the throne. As it is, he got antsy, and is spending his college career playing for a program that's irrelevant on the national scene and we're in a pickle trying to find a viable QB.

Did he transfer before the covid year was granted? Because I'm pretty sure he is playing his last year of college this season.
