SC plays their 8 game SEC schedule every year. In addition we play perennial top 10 Clemson out of conference every year. Most years we play an additional Power 5 game, such as NC this year. Future schedules have series with VA Tech, Miami, and NC. We already play 10 power 5 teams and have a top 5 toughest schedule pretty much every year. Shouldn't have to add an 11th or drop OOC Power 5 games because other teams aren't already scheduling 10 and need to be forced into it.

If schools are so eager for more competition they have full control over 4 games in their schedule. They can schedule 2 OOC Power 5 teams, no one is preventing them.
