I would have thought a NY6 Bowl game blowout win over the #7 team in the country (11-2 at the time) would be a bigger win than a blowout win over the #25 team (5-1) at the time...Oh...they also won over the #3 team in the nation after beating the #25 team...so I would have though that would be a bigger win, but I guess they just measure big wins differently where you are from.

They like to think that magical gateway win to an 11-2 season somehow wipes out that mortal wound a ragtag LSU team gave them in 2001.
