GSB Riboff 2023 Founders Ribbons

In the cluster frick spirit of this year’s RibOff, everyone gets a participation ribbon this go around.

I will think of something in the morning (the saddest day of the year) when not as hammered and award accordingly. By and by

Not so sure..Rigs second place vote for himself and PB’s quid pro quo vote may put Rig over the top based on my count.

The active participant and thread followers vote though is a badge of honor regardless of the “official” outcome.

Edit; actually it’s pretty crazy that our illustrious founder who started this fine event is in the position to cast the deciding vote if he should so choose.

I have never competed in the contest. I filled the role of emcee while rig had a tummy ache. I tried my best to honor the spirit of the competition. Unlike someone who was on "vacation" yet couldn't even post pictures of freshly caught seafood or beach sunsets.

Unreal. Lashing out at me when you've treated this competition like a red headed step child for years.

Hell, rig is the one who brought it up. He basically pulled a Joey Chestnut and saved the Rib-Off. If it was up to you, there would be no Rib-Off. I guess sipping fruity drinks on a "beach" is more important.

Also, if you don’t like your ribbon , consider if I’d just given out smiley stickers instead of throwing curve ball.

It shouldn’t have been as we all saw your work. At least you didn’t get a proxy to insert some random pics in as an entry in exchange for votes. You did great in my book but opinions were tainted. Also you competed admirably without lying and shite talking your competitors.

I felt that I may have led the others astray by choosing not to vote for my own work. This is within the rules but kind of dirty feeling. I could swing this by changing my vote for second place…but that seems kind of desperate and I choose principles over ribbons.
