Its not that UGA is recruiting poorly, this same thing happened to Bama. We were nigh unbeatable for a couple years there, but then you get LSU, Clemson, UGA, Ohio St, etc not even taking all the guys you want, but maybe some combination of those teams take 3-5 guys per year you would typically get. Then you're just a little more beatable than you used to be. Then just a little more. Also maybe the new car shine just wears off a bit. Maybe you miss on some QBs. Auburn is going to recruit well under Freeze. Florida looks like they are going to recruit pretty well. Florida State and Clemson have been recruiting better lately, OU and Texas can sell playing in the SEC now, USC is going to be extremely appealing to any good QB.

Spot on my man!
Gus, Harsin.... Kirby had it easy recruiting against Auburn. He does not have that now with Freeze.
Throw in South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida recruiting. Kirby has to work harder than he has.

But when people were accusing you of struggling you were in the middle of 7 straight years of #1 classes!
I am quite happy with what we get, though honestly. It is kind of fun to get those highly rated classes.
Alabama just set the bar so high for everybody!
