Then if you are so objective you can watch the film and know that the UGA offense’s scheme would have given Bama’s defense fits, and UGA would have still been able to handle the Bama run game. I still think people really don’t understand how difficult the UGA offense is to shut down when they are not shutting down themselves (Kentucky and GT) for various reasons. You have to play a very disciplined defense to do it because the scheme and motions will get you out of alignment before the ball is even snapped. People look at the stats and don’t see a dominant force outside of Bowers, but miss that UGA will beat you using 10+ pass catchers per game.
Alabama even with Golding had done a decent job of containing UGA’s offense but it heavily relied on Alabama’s offense providing pressure that led to bad throws into zone coverage to put the game away. This is essentially why UGA won the rematch in 2021: Alabama’s offense could not apply enough scoring to let Alabama sit back in zone coverages and pick off Stetson Bennett.
I assume it would be another hard fought game like the 2020 and 2021 games but the lack of pop at WR would allow UGA to once again muddy the game up and keep Alabama’s D in man coverage well into the 4th quarter where it breaks them.

Having watched all the 2021-2 and 2022-3 games recently, UGA’s offense was light years better in 2022, due to both Bennett becoming fully comfortable with the scheme, but also because the receiver and TE corps were more healthy and deeper.
