Auburn adds another transfer...2nd team All-American Sam Mongelli. He was NEC Player of the Year and is listed as an infielder.
Report says he picked Auburn over MSU and Vandy.
Starting 55 games, Mongelli batted .402 with 20 home runs, 16 doubles and 54 runs batted in. He also added 22 stolen bases and had an on-base percentage of .495. As a junior he hit .304 with five home runs and six doubles in 138 at-bats.

SHU roster had him as a 4th year senior but that includes the abbreviated 2021 season, so possibly two years left?
